Does your business have installation services? If you do, how do you charge on the installation?
We specialize in countertop installations only, and most of our countertop prices include the installation fee. However, we can provide contact information for contractors who handle various flooring types (hardwood, laminate, ceramic, etc.), as well as kitchen cabinet installations. Do you have delivery services? How much do you charge for the delivery?
Yes, we implement a distance-based charging model for our services. The minimum fee is $90 for locations within a 15-mile radius of our warehouse on 300 E Allegheny Ave. For destinations beyond this range, the fee will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the additional distance. Do you accept checks and credit card?
Customers generally pay in cash or with credit cards. While we also accept checks, please note that checks take two days to process, and customers will not receive their order until the payment has been processed.
Should we email you kitchen dimensions for a quote, or should we visit the store instead?
It's a matter of personal preference. Typically, our returning customers email us their kitchen dimensions for quotes because they know exactly what they want to purchase. However, new customers often prefer to visit our store to get a better idea of our kitchen cabinet and countertop selections. Additionally, we may have specific products that you need readily available in-store.
Can you move my furnitures in the room before you install the floors?
No, the installation fee merely applies to the installation. It is recommended that you move the furniture yourself, we do not want to damage any of your belongings. However, our workers are more than happy to provide assistance if needed.
I have a concrete in my basement, can I still install solid hardwood on the concrete?
No, but you can install engineered wood over concrete. Engineered wood is specially designed to be less likely to shrink compared to solid wood. Please contact us if you are unsure.
What is the return policy?
For cabinets, if there is any damage, please contact us immediately and provide proof, and we will arrange a replacement. While we are generally lenient depending on the installation start date, we typically allow a two-week window for returns. After this period, a 30% restocking fee applies. For building supplies, returns are accepted provided they are not cut or damaged, and a receipt is required for all returns. Please note that drywall cannot be returned under any circumstances.
Why does the granite I bought look different from the showroom displays and samples?
This is perfectly normal because granite is a natural stone, and variations in tone and pattern are to be expected. Each piece of granite is unique, which adds to its natural beauty and appeal. To ensure you are satisfied with the final look, we recommend visiting our showroom to view samples in person and, if possible, selecting the specific slabs that will be used for your project. This way, you can choose the ones that best match your preferences.
What are the main differences between granite, quartz, and marble. What is recommended?
Granite is a natural stone with unique patterns and colors, known for its durability, heat, and scratch resistance, but it requires regular sealing due to its porosity. Quartz, an engineered stone, offers a consistent appearance and is very durable, non-porous, and low maintenance as it does not need sealing. Marble, celebrated for its elegant veining, is less durable and more prone to scratches and etching, requiring regular sealing and gentle cleaning. The best choice depends on your needs: granite for a balance of beauty and durability, quartz for low maintenance, and marble for elegant, low-traffic areas.
How much do you charge to assemble the cabinets?
